Price Changes
All prices are subject to change. We endeavor to ensure that catalog prices are current when you put in you order. Nevertheless, on occasion, a supplier’s prices will change between the ordering date and when payment is due. If this happens you will be notified at the earliest convenience.
Payment
Payment is due by cash or check at time of pickup. Members who are also members of WCCU can make arrangements to have funds transferred directly to the DCO checking account if they prefer.
We do not accept cash for Farm Direct orders as they are purchased directly from the supplier and checks need to be made payable to them for their invoice amount at time of pickup. Farm Direct payments must be by check as we cannot mail cash to the suppliers.
Returns
Please ensure you order the correct items to avoid disappointment. Check and re-check your order before the order cycle ends. Please do not request a split case item unless you are sure you want it if the case fills.
In case of the wrong product supplied, or a defective product, please contact us immediately so we may organize a replacement or credit. Send an email to Accounting with the word CREDIT in the subject line and describe the issue in detail. DCO has no margin to credit members for items UNLESS we can receive credit ourselves from the supplier. Most suppliers have time limits for returns/credits. We need to know within three days for produce and dairy, no more than 10 days on other items, and immediately when there are extenuating circumstances.
Membership Fees
There is a 10% member deposit fee charged on all purchases to cover expenses. A 13% fee is charged for inventory items purchased at pickup. These fees are added to your invoice as part of your total cost for your order. There are no other fees, such as an annual membership fee, but we reserve the right to institute one if needed for capital.
The following CREDIT incentives are also applied to your invoice:
- Local Incentive of 5% credit for all items purchased from the Local catalogs.
- Farm Direct Incentive of 5% credit for all items purchased in the Farm Direct catalog.
